



Beacon Centre Football Team
The Beacon Centre have their very own 6 a side amateur football team, led by the Security Manager in Wilkinsons, they now play at Benfield Sports Centre in Wallsend on Wednesday evenings. The team are the winners of the M.B. Socca League 2006/7 Winter Division 2 and the Champions Cup has taken pride of place in Centre Management reception. We now have quite a good collection of cups with the Wallsend 6-a-side Premier League runners-up 2005-6 trophy and Marden Bridge 6-a-side Division 4 winners 2007-8.

North Shields FC 'Robins'
The Beacon Centre is proud to sponsor the stand at North Shields FC's ground at Ralph Gardner Park. There is also a range of branded merchandise available to purchase from the club.
Originally formed in 1896 as North Shields Athletic, the team progressed through the Northern League and emerged as North Shields AFC in 1928. In 1969 North Shields won the FA Amateur Cup by beating Sutton United at Wembley.
